Blaise MBATSHI – Managing Partner

Blaise MBATSHI is the Founder and Managing Partner of BMCG-Management Consultants. He is a chartered accountant of ONEC (National Order of Chartered Accountants in the DRC) under number ONEC/EC/000282/16. He has 10 years of varied professional experience in the field of Auditing and Management Consulting, in the energy and in the public sector. After a study on the liberalization of the European gas market for GDF SUEZ in Paris and a research project for McKinsey & Company, he began his consulting career at PwC Advisory in Brussels where he was mainly involved in organizational transformation projects, including for the Government and for state-owned companies. Blaise then joined the oil industry, first in the public sector as Advisor to the Minister of Hydrocarbons in Kinshasa (in charge of External Relations and Capacity Building) and then in the private sector as Head of Internal Audit of the PERENCO Group companies in DRC (Muanda, Kongo Central).

As a consultant, Blaise supports about twenty organizations on their strategic and operational issues, with particular emphasis on Risk Management and Financial Functions (Financial Audit, Internal Control, Taxation and Budget Planning). In addition to his consulting activities, he is the DRC Representative of the “Exchange-Expertise” program, which allocates senior experts to companies on a temporary basis.

Blaise is an alumnus of the US Department of State Program for “Young African Leaders 2014”. He carried out his university exchange program at HEC-PARIS within the framework of the CEMS-MIM (Community of European Management Schools – Master in International Management). Blaise holds a Master Degree in Business Administration and Management Engineering from Louvain School of Management (2005).
